As a French native I was really really interested in this movie.
I personally really liked it, it's well done, a few things that could have been on a slower pace to develop like the "lust" or love from "Tarftuffe" to Elmire...but overall a very very good movie.
Romain Duris is excellent and of course Fabrice Luchini excels.
Bravo Laurent Tirard.

I cannot afford to go to the movies much but this was a winner and no I do not always opt for French movies.
So, what about you?
Sandrine.

Re: Have you seen Molière?
Tue, September 25, 2007 - 12:20 AMI was really looking forward to it, too, but I walked away feeling like a) it could have been longer, and therefore b) needed a lot more flesh in order to seem realistic. I did enjoy it, mostly, I just wasn't awed by it, much...

Re: Have you seen Molière?
Thu, October 18, 2007 - 11:55 PMHonestly I prefer seeing it in a theater... live performance is way better than any movie!
